Botanical Beach Provincial Park Botany Bay, Port Renfrew, British Columbia, Canada is only a 5 km drive from town, and a 20 minute hike from the parking lot.
Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park comprising 16,450 hectares. Carmanah Park cannot be accessed via Rosander Main Forest Service Road due to a landslide during a significant storm event on January 31, 2020

A 47 kilometre wilderness trail from China Beach to Botanical Beach The British Columbia Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection protects this 47 kilometre wilderness marine trail. There are four
trailheads to the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail:
China Beach, Sombrio Beach, Parkinson Creek, Botanical Beach
Check the advisory for closures on this trail. Winter creates more streenous conditions.
Loss Creek Provincial Park Off highway 14 south of the turnoff to Sombrio Beach - a Large grove of Sitka spruce are still protected in this area

The West Coast Trail Gordon River Trailhead starts in Port Renfrew. Built as a shipwreck lifesaving trail, this rugged and
extremely challenging wilderness trail is 75 km long from Gordon River at Port Renfrew to Pachena Bay, Bamfield.
